Why is it called a Hocus Pocus Frappuccino?

There are 3 different versions of the Hocus Pocus frappuccino and each one is named after the sisters from the Disney movie, Hocus Pocus.

Tips for making the Hocus Pocus Frappuccino

To make the most creep-tastic Hocus Pocus frappuccino, here are a few tips to follow:

  • To make this frappuccino non-dairy, use any plant-based milk substitute of your choice such as soy milk or almond milk.
  • Replace the matcha tea powder if you want to make a drink inspired by the other sisters. Most berry powders or protein powders would work great in this recipe.
  • For an extra creepy drink, add food coloring to the whipped topping.
  • Use Blackberries in place of the blueberries if you’d prefer.
  • For an extra creamy frappuccino, add a splash of heavy cream or some full-fat coconut milk.
  • For a sugar-free option, use any sweetener alternative that you prefer. Just use less since sugarless sweeteners are usually sweeter.
  • For an amazingly ghoulish drink, try adding Halloween sprinkles on top or syrup for extra effect.
  • Pair the drink with these easy Witch Hat Cookies for the ultimate Halloween party spread.

How to Order a Hocus Pocus Frappuccino at Starbucks

If you prefer to order your ghoulish frappuccino instead of making it at home you can easily order this witch-approved drink at Starbucks! You will want to order your drink according to which sister you want it inspired by, as this will dictate the colors and flavors of your drink.

This is a secret menu option, so be prepared to tell the barista every piece of the order to get the right drink!

Winifred

For a Winifred-inspired drink, start by ordering a green tea frappuccino. Ask for a pump of white mocha and peppermint syrup with crushed strawberries and plenty of whipped cream.

This drink will be bright green with spooky hints of red and white and will taste like green tea and peppermint.

Mary

For a Mary-inspired drink, order a strawberries and cream frappuccino. Then, ask for crushed strawberry and white mocha syrup instead of the regular sweetener. Have mocha drizzle and strawberry puree added to the top.

This will be a creepy shade of pink with hints of brown and will taste like chocolate-covered strawberries.

Sarah

For a Sarah-inspired drink, order the dragon drink with extra berries. Ask for soy milk and have the drink double blended for the right texture. Then, have it topped with whipped cream and ginger powder.

This purple drink is deliciously berry-flavored and sweet.
